What I Got For Christmas 2012

What I Got For Christmas
Hey guys, so today I'm going to do a really quick post on what I received for Christmas this. I'm only doing this because it was requested by a viewer. But first I want to put a huge disclaimer out there, that I'm not trying to brag in any with way. Now that it's out there, let's get started! So I separated this into two categories, one category with what I was in my stoking and one category with the main presents.

 What was in my Stoking:

-  Maybelline Bouncy Blush
-  Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade Bad to the Bronze
-  Benefit Cream Eyeshadow / Liner
- Two EOS lip balms
- NARS Lip Lacquer
- Batiste Dry Shampoo
- Maybelline Great Lash Gel Mascara
Maybelline Great Lash Very Black Mascara
- Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
- Baby Lips Limited Edition Lip Balms
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
- Candy Canes

What was under the Christmas Tree:
- My parents got me Beats By Dr.Dre Solo HD headphones, the Marc
Jacobs Daisy perfume and the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
- My grandparents got me the Viva La Juicy perfume set and a Vera Bradley
 mini Chain Bag
- My aunt got me a light blue pull-over from Victoria Secret's Pink, a black
One Direction Zip Up Sweatshirt and
- My other aunt and uncle got me an earring stand, necklace hanger and a three

So that's all the things I got for Christmas, and I absolutely love and appreciate

DIY Holiday Gifts

Hey pretties, five days until Christmas!
I am really excited, because today I am going to show you guys how to make different last minute DIY gifts.
For the first present we are going to make DIY snow globes. This present you can really play around with and make it special. These are the supplies you will need, and where I got them.
1. glass jar with screw on lid (Costco)
2. distilled water (Shop Rite)
3. gly-cerin (Michael's)
4. super glue (Home Depot)
5.  glitter, color for your choice (Michael's)
6. any small plastic toys/ornaments (Joanne's)

Now that you have all your supplies, lets get started. First choose your small toys and place them on the inside of the lid, you can have so many different ones put together, know where you want them to go before gluing them on. All you need to do is apply you super glue to the bottom of the ornament and stink it on to the lid. after your done glue on all the ornaments, you just want to put that a side and let it dry. Then you want to fill the glass jar with your distilled water to about 2 inches from the top. Next add a dash of the gly-cerin to the distilled water. Now add the amount of glitter you would like. For the last step you want to put the lid with your figurines on it, and the lid as tight as possible to make sure no water gets out.

For the second gift we are going to make DIY decorated chalkboard mugs! I love doing this, because  it's so fun to write on the mugs with the chalk. I mean who doesn't want a cup that you can write on.These are the supplies you will need, and where I got them.

1. a plain colored mug (Target)

2. painter's tape (Lowe's)
3. Pebeo Porcelain Chalkboard paint (Amazon)
4. soft paint brush (Michael's)

Lets get started. First make sure your mug is clean and dry. Use your painter's tape and section off the parts you don't want to have the chalk board. You can skip this step if you want to chalkboard your whole mug. Personally I like my cup to only have the chalkboard on only one section of the cup. After you section off your parts, you want to dip you brush in the Pebeo Porcelain Chalkboard paint and start painting. Beware that regular chalkboard paint won't work on mugs so be sure you get  Pebeo Porcelain Chalkboard paint, also it must have baking instructions on it. After you are done painting, you want to remove the tape and let it dry for about 24 hours. After 24 hours you want to bake the mug in the oven at 400 degrees F, for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn off the oven, let the cup slowly cool down in the oven until it's at room temperature. After you bake the mug it will be dishwasher and microwave safe. You can give this to a teacher or a co-worker with a pack of chalk and some packs of they're favorite coffee or tea.
I hope you guys enjoyed this DIY, and try it out.
Thanks for reading
 Happy Holidays!

Holiday Gift Guide

holiday gift guide
There are ten days till Christmas! Hey guys today I'm doing a holiday gift guide post. Around the holiday season when I go shopping with my friends I pay attention to things that caught their eye, and things they wanted. Then when I go Christmas shopping for gifts I see if they still haven't got that item I would get it for them for Christmas, this is just one of the things I do.
For the first gift I chose perfume. It make you smell good and confident. I recommend perfume that stays on for a very long time. Some of my favorite perfumes are Taylor Swift's first and second Enchanted Wonderstruck, this perfume has a really sweet sent and it smells like magic. Also I love Justin Bieber's new fragrance Justin Bieber's Girlfriend, this perfume has a really fruity smell, you can smell blackberries and all other fruits in there. I totally recommend getting those two perfumes.
For the second gift I chose eye shadows. My favorite palettes would have to be the Urban Decay Naked 1 and 2 palettes, you can achieve a really smokey eye look with both palettes. Also I love the Ultra Shimmer 88 colored palette, it has many other shades of colors. You can achieve so many look with the 88 colors.
Moving on to the next gift I chose China Glaze nail polish. China Glaze has gorgeous colors and their nail polish is very thick so you only need to apply one layer, for the nice color. I chose some shimmery and magnetic looking colors. You can give a series of different colors.  For the fourth gift I chose clutches and handbags. There I have a Juicy Couture studded black clutch, a Vera Bradley wrist-let, and a Vera Bradley Vera Tote. In one of my previous posts I did a review on the Vera Tote, so you can check it out. The two wrist-lets are very light and can hold some cards, cash, your phone, and maybe a lip gloss or mascara. The Vera Tote can carry a great amount of stuff in it and it's very strong.
The last present might be for the person that you really don't know what to get. So I chose this Starbucks coffee set. Inside there are three packs of coffee of your choice, one Starbucks logo mug, and one pack of Walkers shortbread. This is a great gift to one of those passionate coffee drinkers. Also I chose a gift card. Usually when I give someone a gift card it's because I seriously no idea what they want so I let them get their own present.
I hope this post helped you guys out there that are shopping for presents.

       Happy Holidays!!!

How to Renovatur old sweater

Untitled #5                                                                                                                                                                                                     Have you ever looked in your closet and see so many things you don't wear any more, but you don't want to get rid of?
Sweaters are one of my essentials for winter. I have so many sweaters that I don't really wear anymore. So why not turn those out sweaters into something new. It's going to one of a kind and unique. Also it's very inexpensive. I don't recommend doing this to brand new sweaters. For the first one we are making it includes the open shouldered look. You will need a sweater and a pair of scissors. What you want to do is fold your sweater in half and make sure it's even. Your want to cut a half circle around the shoulder open it up and try it on. If it fits okay you can decorate with what ever you want or leave it plain.
For the second look is the studded shoulders. You're going to need a sweater, some regular studs or I chose to use scull studs and a knife. You want to just push each stud into the sweater in rows and use the flat part of the knife to push in and secure the studs.and us have your studded shoulders. For the last looks we're going to make leg warmers. You will need a sweater and a pair of scissors. You what to put your legs in the sleeves just to measure where you want to cut it. After that you want to cut the sleeves off and you have you led warmer. Also they look gorgeous tucked in boots.
Down below I have a video by the one and only Macbarbie07 from youtube. She has awesome ideas on how to renovate your sweater. Check it out.
